Plea deal for alleged Cleveland kidnapper?
Is a plea deal in the cards for Ariel Castro -- the former Cleveland school bus driver who allegedly kidnapped three young women and held them captive for more than a decade?
Castro is charged with hundreds of counts of kidnapping, rape and murder, after the 53-year-old imprisoned the three women in his home for a number of years. He has pleaded not guilty to 977 charges, including 512 counts of kidnapping and 446 counts of rape. The murder charge is for allegedly causing a miscarriage after beating and starving one of the women.
Our experts break down what Castro is facing in the trial that's set to begin August 5. Plus, our legal team discusses how 10 years of evidence and what the victims want could impact a possible plea deal.
